I would like to see you show more jewelry making videos. I don't quiet understand the crimping thing. My husband bought me beads last year for Christmas and I played around with them a little and decided I need someone to teach me...so they're still in the bags in my closet.
Have a great Thanksgiving.

Robyn--
What a beautiful, simple bracelet! You made it look very easy, even while videotaping. I've dabble in beading over the years, but scrapbooking keeps me so busy, I don't have much time for it. You've inspired me to take it up again, so thanks! Hope you're having a great time on your cruise, and thanks for giving us more fun videos while you're gone! Happy Thanksgiving.

i was so excited when previously you told us about the jewelery videos coming soon...we make jewelery with our students who have physical disabilities and are developmentally delayed. they make bead choices by hitting a switch or scanning with their eyes. then we (the teaching assistants) put the jewelry items together and sell them to staff as a fund raiser to get monies to rent buses to take the students out into the community. we are limited in our abilities as jewelery makers so i will be following these videos closely and showing them to my team mates at our weekly meetings! yea!! we improve our skills, improve the jewelery, improve our fundraising, get out into the community and give i=our students exposure to experiences they might not ever have! tfs

I love making jewelery, I started making jewelery before I picked up scrappin, and card making, the clasp you were using is called a toggle clasp, i believe, and the crimping tool is a must have... and so are the pliers, and you yes you need a few types of pliers, hope that helps someone,

Judie said...

Thanks for another great video & quite a surprise with this one. You made me want to try it again. The crimp bead is what did me in when trying the first time. It is SO LITTLE but using the wire the way you did made it look possible. Happy Thanksgiving to you too and hope you are really enjoying your cruise. I'm jealous! =)
