Race for the Cure Scrapbook Page

Hi Friends!

Today my DH and I had the opportunity to participate in the Susan G. Komen 5K race. It was an AWESOME experience. Even though time doesn't really matter, I ran it in 25 minutes 40 seconds which is my personal record! Yay me! My DH and I had fun raising money for the race but are a tad bit short of our goal, so....... if you would be interested in donating you can just e-mail me and I'll send you the link.

Here is a layout that I made tonight while still full of the emotions I felt this day. I hope you enjoy it!

Recipe:

Cardstock - Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Pink Passion, & Blue by Stampin' Up!

Cricut Cartridges - Gypsy Wanderings, Gypsy Font, & Pink Journey

Stamp Set - Be Yourself from Close to My Heart

Ribbon from Stampin' Up!

Great layout. Great cause.

Are you familiar with Survivor Crop? Fun crop retreat & fundraiser to benefit Komen.
I'm donating a quilt to be raffled off to scrappers that are participating in Survivor Crop 2010, which is a lot of fun, plus it raises money for Komen.

Robyn, Great job on your run and your layout. Great cause. Say a prayer for me as I went last week and the radiologist has me in limbo as to my results. Anyway, crafting keeps my spirits up. Love the work you do. You are my "continuing education" teacher. haha. Thanks, Mary (mary@rievley.com)

Congrats on the run! And what a beautiful layout! Well done. Did you design the layout on your gypsy while you were away? You certainly have a good sense of design. And it's pink....imagine that!

I have lost two employees and a best friend to Breast Cancer. It was painful, but believe it or not they were always cheered up by the cards and banners we made up for them. I am currently working on a tribute for my best friends aunt who died from breast cancer in December. Thank you for your support in the fight for breast cancer.

Thank you SO much for what you do! I lost my sister to Inflammatory Breast Cancer - she was only 55 yo. I also participate in a scrapbooking group, where we share our Cricuts and our cartridges. It would be amazing to be able to take the "Pink Journey" each month so everyone could benefit from using it.
