Out with Swine (H1N1) Update
UPDATE - Fever finally broke and today is Saturday. Yaaaa! Still very dizzy and weak. I lost 4 pounds since Wednesday, mostly fluids. So far only 2 of my boys have come down with very mild cases. Mine was just very severe! I should be back to normal by Tuesday.

Sorry to hear you're sick...I was starting to get the flu and I took Grapefruit seed extract...15 drops every hour all day and I didn't get sick at all. My sister was throwing up for 2 days. So it really works, but it's nasty. If you take it in something like juice or soda it's not so bad.
I was wondering if when you feel better is you could do a video about how to design things using DS? I don't get how to put different shapes together. I was trying to make a music note, but I don't understand.

Oh no!!! Your the 4th person I know that has it. DH co worker has a young child sick with it. And my niece called a few days ago her and two of her kids have it. Nasty swine flu just does not seem to be letting up. Will say a prayer for you and your family. Get lots of rest, hope your 100% soon.

Robyn: Totally serious stuff - please take care of yourself and rest (can only image with 5-little ones running around how hard that must be). This flu is reporting to be the worse since the 70's and you really need to (and not like you have any options) stay down and recover. It's hitting hard and all you can do is let it take it's course. Please take this illness seriously and be good to yourself. Here's hoping that your kids and hubby don't come down with it....fee better soon.
Praying for you. I had it last week, and it was terrible. The aches.
As a friend suggested to me...use paper towels in the bathrooms to be safe not to pass it on to the kids through the towels. I used lysol and lysol wipes like a mad woman and refused to touch my children for days. I would sit there and cry that I couldn't cuddle them. But I was so lucky to have been the only one who got sick in the house.

Robyn, Take care of yourself and hope this doesn't keep you down for too long. You pretty much just have to ride it out. Hope the family is well. If you're up to it maybe you can play with your Gypsy while you're in bed! It might help pass the day a little.
Feelin your pain! My 4 & 6 year old and the Hubs have it right now. Lot's of handwashing and spraying of Lysol going on here. Take care and get lots of rest!
So sorry, Robyn! I work at Walgreens and am just waiting for the day when one of our employees is sick with it. You get one, you typically get us all. Feel better and make some chicken soup! Mmmm!

Hope you feel better soon. We have had h1n1 at our house also. One granddaughter just ran a low grade fever with cough the other (twins) has 105.2 fever and after that was over no more. Just the cough. Took a couple of days of rest and everyone was better. Just wash hands and rest hope everyone else escapes it.
What bummer!! I hope you get over it real soon. I have heard it has been going around here quite a bit, too.

Sorry to hear that you have the swine flu. You are the first person I know (if I really know you) that has had that flu. I've become fanatical about using hand sanitizer at work when I can't get to the soap and water. I really hope neither me or my husband get it. He works at home so if we get it it will be me bring the little germs home. I will pray for you to get well and have enough strength to take care of your family. Hopefully not everyone at your home will get sick. Take care and we will see you when you get better. We will survive while you are getting well.

Sorry to hear that Robyn! My 2 older boys have it as well... They had over 80 students at my boys H.S. who have it and they didn't even close the school down! I live in a tiny town in UT. and there is only about 200 students to begin with... I was soo mad that they caught it because the school could have prevented it! They gave them some of that Tamaflu stuff and it's worked wonders....I hope they gave that to you... it should help.... Try and stay away from the rest of the family if you can... I have my boys up in their room and keeping them far away from my Hubby, Me and my youngest son... Good luck and I hope you feel better soon! Theresa

Uh oh....I am so sorry to hear that!!! This swine flu has been having an "extended" run throughout the country. It's bothersome that it has not run it's course yet. There have been outbreaks since the early spring throughout the country. As an RN, this worries me for the fall. I think it's going to be a very busy fall for those of us in the hospital setting. Yuck!!!
I sure hope that you and your family are back to good health soon. Be careful...get lots of rest and make sure to drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. Wishing you a speedy recovery!! Rockin Robin Caldwell
