Okay, so I took off the video because it was pretty scary but I thought I would share a pic of me in my "clown" (as one of my viewers called me) 80's outfit. Enjoy!

It's official! I'm totally sick! I just got back from the doctor's office where they tested me and where I was told it was most definitely the H1N1 virus since it is going around so much in our city.
Chills & hot flashes suck!!!

Thanks for all the congrat wishes. I am so excited about this blog candy!!! I sure had my fingers crossed to win this one. I am hoping that I can put a smile on the faces of some of my patients. It sure does help them to know that the health care team is standing by them, supporting them in any way that they can!! I can't wait to get the cart and start creating with it. Robyn...you have made me very, very happy...and hopefully, many of the recipients of what I will make with the cart. I did respond with my snail mail info to your yahoo address. I leave you with one final though my cyberfriends: Be diligent about getting those mammograms, encourage your beloved female family members and friends to get theirs too!!! Also, remember those monthly self breast exams. We all know our bodies, and how they feel...and we know when something doesn't feel "right". It's important, and just might save your life or that of someone dear to you!!! Be well, healthy, and happy!!! Hisses, Rocking Robin Caldwell

Grrr...google "ate" my comment. I would love to have this cart. I am an RN and see quite a few patients that have been diagnosed with breast cancer and ultimately going through the subsequent treatment. A co-worker just went through it. Her's was found during a reduction mammoplasty. The cancer was small and in a very early stage. It has long been a wish of mine to be able to make some cards to give to these special patients. I would also make some for the OB floor, which is where most of these patients are cared for. It would be awesome to win this as it could put a smile on some faces to know that someone else is thinking of them, and cheering them on. Hisses, Rockin Robin Caldwell
Robin, I do not have a way to contact you. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org within a week. Congratulations!!!

On Monday nights our family has what we call Family Home Evening. It is a program designed by our church to help families designate one night a week to just family time. We usually have a lesson, sing songs, play games, and have a special treat. Now most of you know that trying to make this work with 5 little children cannot be that much fun. Well, most of the time you are right. There is a lot of noise and chaos BUT we are happy that we are able to do this. Last night was an exception and there was much peace, love and joy at our Family Home Evening.
We started out with a family prayer & by singing a favorite song (which was chosen by one of the children). We sang "I Like Bananas, Coconuts, & Grapes". Following the song our 9 year old gave the lesson. She spent 2 1/2 hours on my Cricut Sunday night preparing for this. I was amazed at how AWESOME she was with my bug! She could show us all a few tricks! Her lesson was on getting along together in the house. She talked about how we should say kind words, not fight (which they all are working on), serve each other, and just be nice. Here are some pics of her teaching her lesson.....
After the lesson we read scriptures, said the closing prayer, and then got ready for the treats! Don't they look yummy???
After we ate the yummy treat (okay, I had 2!), we carved a pumpkin! This is so early for us. Usually we are doing it as an afterthought ON Halloween! I even toasted the pumpkin seeds after. Yes, it was a great night!

Today my DH and I had the opportunity to participate in the Susan G. Komen 5K race. It was an AWESOME experience. Even though time doesn't really matter, I ran it in 25 minutes 40 seconds which is my personal record! Yay me! My DH and I had fun raising money for the race but are a tad bit short of our goal, so....... if you would be interested in donating you can just e-mail me and I'll send you the link.
Here is a layout that I made tonight while still full of the emotions I felt this day. I hope you enjoy it!
