  23. ROBYN...I have the best painting tip for you! We have textured walls in California and they are so hard to paint a nice clean line if you want to do different wall colors or the ceiling a different color. To keep paint from seeping under the painters tape use some kind of acrylic gell medium. I used Luquitex Gloss Gel (doesn't metter gloss or matte). I bought it at Aaron Brothers which is a frame and art supply store. Michaels and Joann might have something similar. It is just acrylic paint without the pigment. So let me try to explain better. Tape off what you want to paint, where the paint and the wall meet (seam) paint a thin coat of the gel medium over the seam and the wall. Paint the wall. You don't have to worry about going light on the tape because the gel medium prevents the paint from getting under the tape. Does that make sense? When you pull the tape off, straight line! I did my bathroom and I was so THRILLED with this that I went ahead and put a stripe on my wall in the office. The gel dries in like two seconds so this step doesn't take long and it is so worth it. I think I'm going to try to tape off a castle in my kids room....someone stop me:) If you have any questions let me know. Have a great time!

  156. Hi, Robyn.
I tried one of your challenges but not sure which day's it was. The challenge was to do something I have not done in awhile. I have not been using my Sizzix texturz plate since I bought it a few months ago. I used it to make a card - a quilt card. Here is the link to
    my blog. Enjoy.
