Thank you so much for the faux chipboard lesson! Love it!

What a great idea! I had a duh moment as soon as you started the video. Why didn't I think of doing that. No need to kill yourself trying to cover chipboard, just cut your last layer with whatever patterned paper you want to use.

Thanks so much for the faux chipboard idea. That is a quick and easy way to do it.

I like that idea! It adds dimension without the pop dots and hopefully won't pull off of my cards as easy!
Thanks for the tip!

thank you. the faux chipboard is really fun to do, and so much easier than putting the real stuff through your cricut. (I have been known to use old cereal boxes but I like this much better)

Here's my first day at school card.

Hi Robyn,
Thanks for the faux tip!! I have sheets of chipboard, but I just can't get myself in the mood to use my cricut with it. I have the deep cutting blade, but I so don't want to hurt my cricut I just don't use it. Thanks for all you do. You so rock!!! Lisa G l_gobea@yahoo.com

I made a mini album using my version of faux chipboard: Ritz cracker box. I cut out the tag shape on plantin schoolbook to make the pages on the cracker box. Covered the printed side with paper, and painted the other side. Added photos and a few small embellishments from cricut carts. I make up a bunch in various sizes of styles I really like and in colors I use a lot and put them in zip bags in a box. Then I always have embells to pull from when I need to make a quick card or mini album, like this one.
