The Pink Stamper Shorts (Episode 115) - Layering

Hi Everyone!!

I am introducing "The Pink Stamper Shorts"!! Since summer is almost here for our family, I am going to have even less time to make my videos. I have decided that I will just make "Shorts". These will be about half the length of my regular videos but still give you a basic idea. I hope you like them!!

Here is my first "Short"!!

Happy Sunday!

Hi everyone!!

Sorry with all the pics of me and my family but I thought I would fill in for a day until I get something craft related up here. I have my next video filmed, I just need to edit it. Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow night. I hope you all are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!!

This is me and my oldest son.  He looked so handsome in his suit that I just had to get a picture of us together.  My 9 year old took the picture.  :)

My 2nd 5K Race!!!!

Can you believe I ran another 5K race???? A friend of mine talked me into signing up for another 5K race that was scheduled for today and I am so glad she did!! Karlee & ,I along with our husbands, all had a blast running today's 5K. Us girls ran it in 30:43, which beat my old time!!! We both also placed 3rd in our age group!!!! I GOT A MEDAL FOR RUNNING!!!!! I feel like a running STAR!!! Of course I know, it's only a 5K, but to me it was SOOOO super BIG!!!

Here are the pics of the day.....

It's so neat that my husband and I now both share a running hobby.  We have many goals for the future that we want to accomplish TOGETHER!

Here is me and Karlee after the race.  We sent our husbands out to the car to get our cameras so we could capture it all on film.  We must be scrapbookers, huh??

Funny story....  Just about 2 k's into the race we noticed that there were some runners now running our direction.  We totally thought they were the marathon runners who had started 1 1/2 hours before we did.  We were cheering for them, screaming, telling them they are AWESOME!!  Then we realize that they are the 5K runners!!!  At the halfway point you have to turn around and come back!!  We were only a little bit behind the people we were cheering on!!!  Honestly, when we thought they were the marathon runners our speed picked up, our energy level got higher, and we just were pumped.  After we realized that we were in the same race then it was pretty funny.  :)

After we were done running we thought it would be fun to go back out on the course and cheer the marathon runners on.  Karlee and I were doing cartwheels, "WHOOOOING", and doing kicks for them!  Some of the marathon runners loved it and we felt that it also annoyed some.  :)  It was soooo super fun, though!!  I really want to attend marathons just so I can be a cheerleader for them and keep their spirits up.  What an amazing accomplishment for them!!  We are setting a goal to run a marathon in October 2010.  Just 1 year and 5 months away!!!

Here is a pic of Karlee and me with our 3rd place medals.  We both placed 3rd place in our age group.  Of course they were 10 years apart!!!  What a fun day.  I am going to miss Karlee sooooo much when she moves in 2 weeks!!!

Episode 114 - A Girlie Card

This is the card I designed for our Cricut Swarm last Saturday.  Hope you like it!!

Karlee's Friend Book

Yep, this post is about my friend, Karlee, again!! For her going away party I made her a word book that I created on my Cricut Design Studio Software. Didn't I do good??? No, I don't have the .cut file if you are wondering. I accidently deleted it after I cut my book and it is also on my other laptop that I cannot get online very often. Sorry about that. I do, however, have a video I made for Custom Crops coming up that has 2 .cut files that I created for 2 Word Books. I'll post a link as soon as they get them up and going.

Here it is.....

Surprise Party!

My BFF, Karlee, is moving away from me in 3 short weeks!!! I decided to throw her a surprise going away party with just the girls. We had a blast!!!! We had lots of yummy goodies, girl talk (which I won't be sharing!), fun in the Jacuzzi, eating very HIGH CALORIE popcorn, singing American Idol WII, taking lots of pictures, and watching a chick flick. Did I mention I had a BLAST??? Here are the highlights.

Yes, of course my Cricut was involved!!!

Karlee is showing off my cute banner I made for her using Hello Kitty Font Cartridge.

Love my Karlee!!!

Look at all the yummy food!!!  I made lots of chocolate covered fruit which was DELICIOUS!!  I took the night off from counting my WW points.  Bad Robyn!!

I made this tiny little purses as party favors using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge and they were cut out at 3 inches.  They were super SMALL and soooo cute!!!

What are you up to?

My family and I are on a short vacation. We left yesterday to go about 3 hours from our home to go fishing and "camping". Okay, we aren't really camping because we are in a (small) cabin with a bathroom but we are right on a lake. We just finished fishing and are about to go out on a boat we rented for a couple of hours. Should be fun! They are expecting a storm in a little bit and the water is probably around 40 degrees. Yet, my children are still in their bathing suits. Of course, I am NOT letting them get in the water.

I hope you all are having a great weekend! We will be driving home tonight. :)

It is looking like it's going to be a very busy day for me so I thought I would quickly post something for you. I made these books for my children's teachers for Teacher Appreciation week. Didn't they turn out AWESOME?? The teachers loved them, too.

Today I have to take 2 of my children into the dr because we think they might have Strep Throat. YUCK!! Then I have to take my doggie into the boarders because we are going out of town this afternoon until tomorrow night. Wish me luck! Lots to do!

Bonus Giveaways

Hi Everyone!!! No, I didn't forget about my Giveaways!! I closed all entries last night and I haven't had a chance to pick the winners yet.

Today has been a day of sickness.  Now my 9 year old has a headache, neck ache, and sore throat. I'm sure she will be full blown sick by tomorrow.  My 4 year old threw up this morning (good thing he made it to the toilet).   My 7 year old is still sick with a fever of 103.5, headache, sore throat, neck ache, congestion, small cough.  Oh, did I mention that we have 1 confirmed case of Swine (H1N1 Virus) Flu in our state and one school in our district thinks they might have a positive case, too?  Of course we have the medical technology in our country to take care of it if that is a possibility but having a sick child is just not fun.  Period!

So, I was thinking today about how much I appreciate all of you.  I just don't think 10 prizes are enough to give away.  So......  I have decided to give 2 more away.  I want to draw from the people who commented in the Challenge Posts.  I will pick 2 people from this group of 10 Challenges.  It won't count if you are just now leaving a comment on one of those posts.  YAAAA!!  I love giving away stuff!!!  Here are the goodies....

Giveaway #11 will get.......   A set of the Cricut Primary Markers.  (Yes, I do have a video showing how to use these!)  Check the link of All My Videos to the right.

Giveaway #12 - A set of "The Pink Stamper Original" homemade cards.  Yep, most of these are from videos I have made in the past year.  These are some of my favorites!

Teacher Appreciation Bee Card

This morning my neighbor called me at 10:15 and asked if I could make her a card by 11:00.  I told her I was up for the challenge!!  Man, was I whipping around in my scrap room like a crazy lady!  I guess this is what you all felt like on Saturday while I sat back and read about it on my computer, huh??

The bee was cut from Pooh and Friends.  Enjoy!

~I made my first BIA chipboard book!!!

Thanks to my BFF Karlee for showing me how to make this awesome book!!!  I think it turned out sooo super cute!  I also made one of these for my other daughter.  I presented the books to them last night and told them to use it as a scripture journal so that at night when they are reading their scriptures they can share a thought in it or share the scripture.  My 9 year old was so excited that she read 50 verses!!!  That's a lot for her!!  I love how my hobby can also be something more to my family.  :)

My NSD Pictures!

I thought it would be fun to share what "I" was doing the entire NSD while you were all doing my challenges.  Karlee and I were having a blast being goofy and I also was sitting in front of my computer the entire day!!  FUN STUFF!!!
