Cupcakes!

This Friday my girls are having an "un"slumber party. Basically it's the same thing as a slumber party but we get to send the kids home before bedtime. :) It's a win win situation for us parents!! We do not let our kids have sleepovers or slumber parties for personal reasons so this is a way for them to still feel like they are getting to experience the best part of it.

I made these invitations tonight, even though we are late sending them out. I love how they turned out. Of course they are super simple!!

On another note, I think I am getting strep throat. My 2 year old (the same one who got 9 stitches on Tuesday night) came down with Scarlet Fever yesterday and his older sister has strep throat. I knew I shouldn't have been giving him lots of snuggles and kisses last night but he needed his mama. Good thing I get to stay home and relax this weekend. We do not have to go to church tomorrow due to it being our church's General Conference. We can watch it on Satellite TV which is really nice. It is nice to be able to relax at home while still feeling like I am being spiritually fed. If you are interested what General Conference is you can go to www.LDS.org and it is on the front page.

Okay, I'm officially going to bed. My husband should be home any minute and I'm going to have him put the kids to bed. :)

  4. oh no, strep throat is miserable to have so i'm hoping you and your kids could get quickly over it... you did a great job on the invites (using that Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge that i love) - along with that cute cupcake that is so much FUN to use :) - that PP is so chic and goes well with that cut!

  8. I thought that looked like the HK cupcake. I haven't gotten to use that one yet, but it looks great.

I hope you're feeling better & that it really wasn't strep because that's what I have & I've never been in so much pain in my life!
