Please answer my poll

Hi everyone!! I have had many e-mails, pm's, and threads started about me selling a DVD. I just want to see how many people would really be interested in one of these before I put time and money into it. I was thinking that I would make my DVD be exclusive with all new videos that might go into more depth than my quick snippets. I also would give little sneak peaks on my blog of what to expect. If you can answer the poll on the right and then leave me a comment here that would be wonderful.

You are all awesome and I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. I truly enjoy making them and teaching others how to do, too. :)

ETA- Yes, I will still be making my other videos for my blog. This DVD would be "in addition" to what I already do. :)

    Good Luck Robyn,

I love your videos. I just recently began watching them but so far they have been a blessing to my habit.

  3. Robyn,
I voted. Thanks for this opportunity.
I would like to see new more in depth videos exclusively on your DVD. The older ones we can see on your blog or make a DVD for ourselves (not to sell). I would still like you to make your little "snippets on your blog though. It's like visiting a friend when we come to see them.

  5. Hi Robyn,

I would love to have a DVD! That would be great. I wanted to know if you have the potpourri basket? I would love to see a video on this one if possible. Also, I have a lot of imaginisce too. I saw that you used a stamp from them, wanted to know if you have more of them.. My hubby gets upset because everytime that you use something, I need it..lol.. You makes things so easy... I have learned so much from watching and look forward to all the new ones.

Thanks for all your hard work!!

  9. Hi Robyn - Your videos are helping me learn how to use my Cricut. I couldn't figure out how to do the multi-cut, so I found your video on that feature and watched it. Thanks for your help and I will definitely be interested in a DVD.

  10. I love all of your videos and voted for a DVD with all new, more detailed instructions. You have been an inspiration to all of us and have made us think "outside the box" on a lot of our cartridges. I have even bought some I had never intended to buy once I saw what you did with them.

Thanks for all of the time and energy you have devoted to this.

  11. I think an in depth DVD would be great. Personally, I would like to see all new content since we already have access to your other videos. Good luck on this! Can't wait to hear what you decide!

  12. Robyn, I love your video's and what I like about them is they do not take that long to watch, therefore I will watch more of them. I did vote for the DVD but I'm wondering if there aren't tons of people who watch that could not buy a DVD. I have learned a lot about the Cricut from you. So many features on the cricut are just learn as you go and your videos have helped me there. I would probably not buy a lot of the videos just because I don't normally want to sit down and watch that long. Bet your poll will give you some insite, and I'm sure the videos would be top notch, I'm just not sure how many you would need to sell to make it worth your time. Good luck on whatever you decide!! 14. Hi Robyn - Love all of your videos. There are days that I have video marathons. I love to watch them and learn something new everytime.

  16. Hi Robyn!!! I voted for "not right now" only because my funds are extremely tight and limited right now so wouldn't be able to afford one. However, I do come to your blog every single day in hopes of seeing something new. In fact, I was on your blog 2 nights ago after a crop and my boyfriend came in, saw what I was watching and said, "You spend alot of time on that blog don't you?!??" lol

Thanks for all the great information!! I've learned so much about my cricut and have even used some of the tips and hints that you've given!!!

  19. Robyn,
I love your videos, and they are so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your tips and techniques. Yes, please do a DVD and as soon as it's ready, I would love to purchase it!!!

  20. I love your videos..I like the fact that they are short. I dont have time to sit through a long DVD to find what I want. I like simple and fast. I have found that when I buy instructional DVDs they just get put away and never watched again. thats just my personal experience.

    good luck with this.

  21. Your videos have been such a great idea and learning tool for me. Please, please, please do make a DVD. I know it would be a great hit!!!

  22. Robyn:

I love your little "snippets" on your blog. I would not want for you to give that up to make a DVD because I look forward to viewing them each day. I wondered what kinds of things you would put on a DVD, and about how much would they cost? More than likely, if you did make a DVD, I would purchase it because I believe you deserve my business. I also love how your blog is organized. It's not at all hard to find what I'm looking for. I think that if you have a strong desire to make a DVD, you should go for it. I'll support it.

  23. hi Robyn - your videos are great and would be great on DVD but in order for me to purchase a DVD the videos would need to be a bit higher in the quality or resolution - right now they are pretty grainy even on just the computer? Maybe you can try adjusting the upload settings before uploading to youtube?

Anyway I do love them. you are so great for making them! That is just my tip for you if you will be selling - people might want to display them on larger tv's, etc. so quality would suffer.

    thx!!

    Hello!
I did place my vote FOR a new dvd! Thank you for offering to do this! You are an inspiration and are helping me learn how best to use my Cricut Expression. I can't thank you enough for all you do! KEEP it UP....please! Love your ideas and all the knowledge you have!

  25. Robin,
I voted for the new and old on a DVD. I think that would be great, especially if each chapter on the DVD could be a different project. Then we could just pop it in the DVD player and choose what to watch and work right along with you. I do that sometime on your blog, but a DVD would much easier to do. I would definitely support you and buy your DVD or DVDs..lol if you decide to release new ones here and there. You work hard at this and deserve our support. Do it soon while I still have a job...lol. By the way when do you sleep?.....lol I don't see how you handle all you do.

  26. Because DVDs are so labor intensive (create, burn, ship, track it, etc.), what if you offered a "premium" membership, for a set price per month ($5-10) that would give people access to your new exclusive videos that month with a set numberof videos guaranteed? Then, they would be given an exclusive password to view them on a password protected blog or site. The only worry to this would be if people shared that password - always a worry in the digi world we live in today.

OR what if for starters, you put a donation button on your blog?

For me, I am not very interested in buying DVDs although I do like to view short video online.

I enjoy your videos very much and have learned a lot from them. Most importantly, you make it seem so easy and what is especially encouraging is how quickly you do everything. It makes it seem possible to create a lot with the Cricut in a short time, which of course is true but somehow doesn't always feel that way, KWIM?

Keep up the good work! You are fantastic and so much fun to tune into! I love the things you make! Thanks!

  27. I love your videos - they are sooo helpful. I would buy the DVD in a heartbeat. Thanks for all you do.

  28. I voted for a new videos with old. I love to put your blog on and get creative with my own projects. Right now I have to stop every few minutes to play the next video. Do you have a price in mind? lol I guess it really does not matter, I'd buy it anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide. You just make ours cricuts worth all the more to use. Thanks as always, Lisa G

  29. I have a question-are these videos using the original Cricut or one of the two that came after it? I haven't hauled mine out in over a year as I was honestly so pissed off at Provo for abandoning us original owners, that I didn't even want to look at it. And the fact they are so kid oriented. Are there any cartidges for adults? Even my GKs are grown up now.

  30. I would love one of your DVD's... how much would you be charging for it? I would love a DVD on how to design in DS...

  31. Of course I voted YES!! For old and new. Wonderful idea, Robyn.
I notice one lady asked about sending to Europe, makes me query if it would be zone-friendly or computer only. We in Australia are in a different zone to the USA, and the same may apply to Europe. I am sure it could be sent anywhere anyone wanted it as long as correct postage was applied.
Just another thing to work out LOL
Keep up the wonderful work, we will still support you no matter what your decision.

    Hugs from Oz.

  33. Can you believe that I only came across your blog yesterday thanks to the everything cricut blog and I watched all of your videos there and then. I would love to see a dvd but can you please make it available in Australia. I have a few questions to ask but I will do that later and thank you for taking the time and effort that you put into your blog for people like me.

  34. Robyn, Yes! What have you been waiting for? You put so much time and effort into these videos for us and you deserve something in return. I would love to have the DVD but would also still enjoy the little snippets from time to time.
    Good luck to you!

  35. Robyn,
I absolutely love your videos and look forward to your updates. It's like visiting a friend even though you don't know me. LOL I have learned a lot and think you'd do awesome making a detailed dvd for sale. Your snippets are by far the best out there and I'm always amazed at your generosity and hard work you put into them. Very professional but your real at the same time making everyone feel like they can do it too. I have often thought about asking if I could send a donation or something in return. I've learned more from your videos than anywhere else and I feel like I'm pretty capable on my cricut.
thanks again and best of luck

  36. Robyn, I voted yes for the new ones and then questioned why I did that. I just recently found your blog and I'm so totally hooked on your Cricut Series. I have had my Cricut for 1 year now and I'm in awe of what I can do and didn't know it. I haven't had time to go back in your archives but I'm so impressed at what you are teaching me. Thanks so much - please keep it up and yes, I will buy a CD, providing it fits in my budget. :)BARB W

  45. You have been a wonderful inspiration to me as I use my Cricut and all the other scrapping tools. I look forward to your new videos each time I check your blog. Thank you for all the work that goes into the creation of the projects and the video. I hope that if you decide to make a DVD that you will still put your videos on your blog. I would miss the "friendship" that is part of your video and makes me want to check it out often.
