Cricut Series 1 (Episode 72)

More Birthday Goodies

Today we had my DS's Mickey Mouse birthday party. It was really fun! The kids were so cute & my DS loved everything about it!! Here are the favors & decorations I made. Mickey Mouse Font & Mickey Mouse & Friends Cricut cartridges were both used.

Wow! I've got so much to do!!

I had envisioned making a few videos before Christmas but the time is just flying by for me. I have so many projects that I am working on for church, school, and my family that the new videos might have to wait a bit. If I could just get a few more things done then I will be sitting pretty.

Mickey Mouse Birthday

My DS turns 4 on the 20th and his favorite person in the world is Mickey Mouse so we decided to have a Mickey Mouse birthday party. This will be his first party where he gets to invite friends. He is so super excited!!! Here are the quick invitations I made to send out. I welded them together using the Designer Studio Software and Mickey Mouse Font cartridge.

Dear Santa

My DD has been asking for a puppy for years now. That is all she is asking for for Christmas from Santa. Here is her cute homemade card. :)

Edited to add: We will find out on Christmas morning if Santa brings her a puppy. :) She is a regular on this blog and loves to read all that I write. :)

Pink Baby Quilt

This is what I have been working on for most of the day. I think it just turned out precious! One of my good friends had a baby last week and I wanted to make her something special. This quilt is just tied using 2 pieces of fabric with batting in the middle. You just use a quilting needle to tie yarn in it then sew the edges. This blankie is sooo soft! Two of my children still sleep with quilts that I got from their baby showers. My oldest DD's is totally falling apart but she is not ready to put it in storage yet. Hopefully this blanket will create memories for little baby Emma. :)

My love of ribbon!!

As I look around my Pink Loft I am realizing that I have a total love of ribbon. It is everywhere!! I just need to figure a better way to store it. For now it is in an okay spot but as I start to organize it will need to fit better. :)
