I came down with the flu suddenly this morning so you probably won't be seeing any posts from me until I feel better. This one is hitting me hard. Fever, headache, sore throat, chills, etc.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I will be spending most of it in my bed now that my DH is home!!

Some pages for you
Today I woke up at 5:20am so I could go and work out at the YMCA from 5:45-6:45. Well, that means that I was able to get a lot of my chores done earlier than normal. Here are a few pages I finished today. I hope you enjoy!
Alphalicious cartridge from Cricut was used to make the title and Locker Talk cartridge was used to make the music notes. Blue patterned paper from Hobby Lobby.
Cricut cartridge New Arrival was used to make the title. Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin kit was used for the paper. The colors were Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy, and Bashful Blue.
I used Cricut cartridge New Arrival & Making the Grade for the banner & plane on top. The cardstock is from Stampin' Up! using colors Real REd, Ballet Blue, Yoyo Yellow, and Glorious Green.

Choo Choo Scrapbook Page
I had so much fun making this scrapbook page layout. The train is made with the Cricut using My Community cartridge. The giant circle is from the George cartridge which I then ran through my Cuttlebug using the new Swiss Dot embossing folder. Hope you enjoy!

Easy Card
I am helping with an activity we are doing in my church this Friday and I needed to make 40 cards. I decided to keep it super simple and this is what I came up with. The stamp set is All God's Children from Stampin' Up! and the colors are Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue. I used the Cricut cartridge Mini Monograms for the scallop and regular circle. The scallop scissors are from Michaels.

Monkey's are so cute!!
I have a good friend who just loves monkeys and I can totally see why. They are so cute, especially when you stamp them on paper! I started this card last night so I am going to count this as my Thursday post.
The monkeys are from Stampendous. The paper is Stampin' Up! Creamy Caramel, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White. I used one of the new Cuttlebug folders for the background then used a sponge dauber to brush White Craft ink over it. The scallop oval was done using the Alphalicious cartridge for the Cricut. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and the flower accent was given to me. Enjoy!

No Whining Wednesday
Okay, at first I wanted to name this post "Whining Wednesday" but then figured I didn't want to sit here and complain about my morning so far................. so it is now officially called "NO Whining Wednesday". Ya think I can do it????
I made this card using a Gina K. Designs stamp set at www.ginakdesigns.com. The colors used were Stampin' Up!'s Pretty in Pink, Lovely Lilac, and Wild Wasabi. I used a new folder for the Cuttlebug for the background, and the Cricut for the circles (scallop and regular). Basic Black was used for the ink and the gingham ribbon is also from Stampin' Up!. I had fun with this card. Simple yet cute!

Smile!!!
Today just feels like one of those days. I wish I could just take a pair of dark glasses and be someone else for just a few minutes. I have a great life and a wonderful family but sometimes I want to be 8 years old again and carefree.
Here is my 7 year old DD wearing her Hannah Montana 3-D glasses. What a fun picture!

New Calling
In our church we all have what is called "callings". That is where we are asked to help out in certain areas since no one is paid in our church. My new calling is Primary Secretary. I get to work with all the little children ages 18 months to 11 years old. I get to take the rolls & do all the fun paperwork stuff. I also have the opportunity to play with my stamping & scrapbooking supplies and make it fit in to my responsibility.
I was asked to make invitations for a get together we are having for the teachers in the Primary. I used Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for my Cricut. The paper used was all Stampin' Up! The stamp set is from Close to My Heart.

Baby Card Cut File
A few of you wanted the .cut file for my baby card. You have to own the software to use this but that is one of the biggest benefits. If you own the software you can just download this onto your Cricut and cut immediately!!
Scrapbookin'!!
Baby Card
I absolutely LOVE my Cricut Expression and I love the Designer Series Software to go with it. I made this card so it looked like a word book. Everything is welded together with a mat of patterned paper on the top. I used Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue & the Designer Series paper. The Cricut cartridges used were Mickey Font & George. Enjoy!!

It's a "love" thing!
This past weekend I flew home to Utah for a funeral of a very close friend. Even though it was a very sad experience, it was also a nice time for me to reflect on my life. I realize that we all have an influence over many people, whether it be good or bad. I hope that I will be able to touch as many lives as my dear friend did. She was an amazing person who was loved by all but her main attribute was that she loved many. This card is in tribute to my dear friend, Nedra. "Charity Never Faileth".
Here's my challenge to you. Take those cards that you make and send them out to people. They look great in your galleries and on your blogs but I bet they could really make someone's day if they got them in the mail from you.

I used the Cricut cartridge Happily Ever After to make the heart & the Cuttlebug embossing folder Paisley for the background. Colors used were Stampin' Up!'s Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion, Basic Black, and Bazzil's Bling paper. The "love" stamp is from Papertrey Ink's Text Box stamp set. I used Michael's large scallop scissors for the bottom border. SU's black gingham ribbon was also used.

A Pig of a Week
Is that even a real saying? I just thought that it sounded good for this card. I just got my new Cuttlebug folders in today. Can I say that I just LOVE them!!! The dots are going to be so much fun to work with and so it the Paisley. The pig stamp is from Gina K. Designs (www.ginakdesigns.com). The paper is from Hobby Lobby. I used Basic Brown to stamp the pig and colored with Watercolor Crayons from Stampin' Up! using a blender pen. The Pink gingham ribbon is from SU, too.

Cricut Swarm #2
Today we had the big Cricut Swarm that I was co-hosting with a friend. It was a great time but I wasn't as productive as I would have liked. I did get 12 pages completed but I brought 75 to do! Can you believe I really thought I would get most of those finished?? Little did I know that I would be so busy chatting and making new friends that I would forget about my own scrap spot!! Here are the pics of us today. Enjoy!
