Pink Baby Quilt

This is what I have been working on for most of the day. I think it just turned out precious! One of my good friends had a baby last week and I wanted to make her something special. This quilt is just tied using 2 pieces of fabric with batting in the middle. You just use a quilting needle to tie yarn in it then sew the edges. This blankie is sooo soft! Two of my children still sleep with quilts that I got from their baby showers. My oldest DD's is totally falling apart but she is not ready to put it in storage yet. Hopefully this blanket will create memories for little baby Emma. :)

Hi Robyn! Glad to see you are posting more of your beautiful creations. I just adore the quilt. I so remember my DD & DS having there own handmade quilts when they were little. They are so special & I always thought of who made them when they were used. I am sure your friend will treasure!

It is just BEAUTIFUL Robyn!!! There is a friend in our congregation that makes crib sized quilts for each new baby born in the congregation...simular to this one, and everyone looks forward to seeing what color and decorative backing she uses. They certainly are special. My kids...errr...26,23 and 20 yr olds...:o) still have, love and USE them to this day!!! I'm sure Emma will feel the same way!!!
