Jewelry

One of my other great creative passions is jewelry making.  A friend of mine introduced me to it about a year ago and I have been hopelessly hooked ever since.  I love how I can use my ability to put colors together with my paper crafts and apply it to bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Here are 3 sets that I made this week for some birthdays. I think these turned out really cute. Hobby Lobby has their glass beads for half off this week so I was able to replenish my supply after I made these. Hope you enjoy!!

  2. Love that last one especially! They are all gorgeous. Do you find it hard to do? I guess you can make the bracelets pretty much any size you need. Every time I attend a crafts fair and see homemade jewelry, things like bracelets are usually too small for me. They always seem to be too short. I have been thinking about trying to make my own. Any tips?

  5. These are all beautiful!! I have thought many times about learning the craft of jewelry making but since I am already obsessed with paper crafting and painting (and I have to have it all....like every color paint, every brush, every punch, every tool, etc...), I keep telling myself I cannot afford to get into jewelry making, too!!

  6. How, beautiful, Robyn!!! The first one is... WOW! I love it! I love the black/pinkish beads!!! (I'm rather biased...it seems that most of my clothes involve black and pink.)

You are so creative and truly an inspiration to all of us! :)

Just been reading about your 'pink' cards. As you know I have just lost my best friend to breast cancer. Still struggling to deal with it but am making a memory book for her beautiful children and thats is helping to heal the pain. Anyway I hope you are well and catch up with you soon. Hugs Em.x

  16. These are beautiful. I have made so many jewelry pieces myself. I am trying to make the greeting cards, take a little time although I have quite a few books, I probably have about one million beads, Cricut Expression machine, Sizzix Machine, on and one. Love making things, its very relaxing.

  17. Love your website and your videos, all that you do is awesome. Watched your video on jewlery making and would love to get into this. What is the name of the idea you put on the bottom, is that what you put on the end to hold it or do you use glue. What kind of string is that. Do you buy your beads at hobby lobby or walmart. email me grmagrpa@live.com
