Time for Fall!

September 21st is my favorite day of the year. It is the official first day of Fall which is my favorite season. I love it when the leaves turn pretty colors on the trees, the wind smells brisk, and scented candles burn in my house. I love to pull out my sweaters and wear fuzzy socks around my house. I just love pretty much everything about it.

What is your favorite season?? Why??

Here are two cards I made today that were going to be in a video but I realized that after I was halfway through I had not hit "record". Ooops!! I thought I would just share them together anyway. They are both using the same color theme & sketch just a different stamp set. I hope you enjoy!!

  1. Robyn, you do some of the best LO's that I have ever seen and you make them look so simple. Thank you for the time you take out of your day to do these videos.

  2. Hi Robyn,

I love summer. The kids are out playing, swimming, BBQ, It seams like to live during the summer. However I do love fall.

    Thanks for all you do.

  3. Hi Robyn

I love Fall too. Memories of wrapping up in your sweaters/coats for a friday night high school football game, drinking hot chocolate, hayrides, church fall festivals, halloween, . I love the fall decorations that can be displayed in homes, because they can last thru Thanksgiving. I think I love each season for many different reasons, but fall has to be my favorite.

Winter = Warm throws on the sofa to cover with sitting next to the fireplace (but here in the south, our fireplace doesn't get used that much, we have pretty mild winters)

Spring - Spring cleaning time, Open the windows for fresh air, Easter

Summer - Unless I get to go the beach somewhere, it's usually keeping cool around here. The south can get kinda hot and sticky. Oh, and Ripley Tomatoes - THE BEST! There is a small town called Ripley Tennessee that grows the best tomatoes for hundreds of miles!

Fall - Obvious favorite, reasons listed above.

    Winter - Holidays

The cycle starts all over, but most of all is spending time with the ones that you love and making memories.

    Have a great day.

  4. I love the carefree feeling you have in the summertime. No kids in school time to scrap without a timetable of having to be anywhere and NO HOMEWORK. Fall is my second favorite season with the crisp chill in the air. Robyn I love all your videos and creations.

  5. Fall is my favorite season. The changing of the leaves is one of the prettiest of natures wonders. The rich full color is beautiful.

Plus the crispness in the air the feeling that it's cold outside so snuggle up on the couch or settle in to read a good book. PLUS that also means I get to light the fireplace too!

The pumpkin patch opens, hay rack rides, going door to door while my children beg for candy!

  6. Great cards, Robyn. I love all the seasons, except SUMMER!!! It just gets so hot here!!! That's why we go away to the mountains for July and August! I just can't stay here when it is 112!!!

Thanks for sharing your creations and your time with us!!

  7. Hi Robyn,

We both think alike. The cozziness of fall is what gets me, too. Fall is my favorite time of the year, also. The mixture of red, orange, yellow, and brown colors of fall are so lovely and refreshing for me, unleashing my creative spirits.

I love your Vlogs and check here on a daily basis. Your kids videos has inspired my son to make cards using his cuttle kids. Keep inspiring!

Fall is the best, the colors the scents all five of our senses are put into full gear!!

  9. I like little bits of each season but I think my favorite is spring. I love that first spring day when you get to open the windows and have some clean fresh air and things are starting to green up and bud out. Here in the northwest are winters can be a little gray and dreary so when things start to brighten up for spring it feels so happy. Love your fall cards. tfs
