Insanity!!

Hey everyone!!  I had a temporary moment of insanity during my last post.  I will NOT be giving up my pink loft.  In fact, I'm having them paint over the green paint as we speak and make it a "true" Pink Loft!!!

Also, with the digital scrapping.  I think I am going to give it a try but it is something that I will do in ADDITION to traditional scrapbooking.  I don't think I could ever give up the feel of the paper in my hands but it will be nice when I am somewhere with just my computer.  I will still be able to get something accomplished!

I hope you all have a great day!!  Things are moving along nicely.  We will be in our new house officially on Wednesday morning.  I have been over there every day and they have gotten so much done.  Yesterday they ripped out all the hardwood floor and sealed it.  Today they are putting in our new hardwood floor.  They also are getting ready to paint 7 rooms for us!!!!  Some of those are just half baths but it is going to look so different.  I'm glad we are able to start off by making this house our home.  Last night I took the kids over to the new house to swim in the pool.  They installed the wrought iron "aluminum" safety fence for us yesterday and it looks really nice but the most important thing is that it has a magnetic safety latch with a key!!!  No little children will be able to get in there unless we know about it!!

Okay, I'm off!  I need to find a fireplace cover and a hammock for the hammock stand they left.  :)

  12. I'm glad you are not giving it up ... it's not quite the same without the paper and "the hands on" turning the pages!! :)
Glad you'll still have your own space too!!

  13. I knew it was just a bad dream!!!! I'm glad you woke up from it! I thought to myself, could I do that????mmmm, no, I love to feel, crumple, rip, tear, ink and accessorize to much. The PC just does not let me get messy or feel. But I am wanting to add some digital features to scrapbooking as well. Please keep us informed of any good info you come across.

    Have a blessed day,

  20. I'm glad you didn't change your mind about scrappin! Digiscrap is nice but paper scrappin is for all of your senses! You can see the wonderful pages and colors, you can feel different textures, smell different scents, record messages to hear later on, and if you're brave i'm pretty sure you can lick something lol (jk) but scrappin is for most of your senses lol. I'm glad your house is coming along sounds like it will be nice.

  21. I knew you would come back to your senses!! You are so talented in what you do it would have been a shame to give it up. The digital is fun and you should give it a try but you may find that its good for gifts when you are in a hurry.

  22. YAY! I was worried about you! I hope you NEVER give up PAPER scrapping! There is something so relaxing and enjoyable about it! I do think tho that I would like to try some digiscrap too, but only as a supplement more for online pages. Not for their books. I want them to be able to get it out and touch and feel it! LOL I'm happy you are going to have a "Pink" Pink Loft. Praying for you and your family for this move!
