I especially liked learning about the fit to length lesson so I can make borders! You inspired me to make cards too, as my craft room is overflowing with scrapbook albums. My creative urge will have another outlet. Thanks so much. Keep it up!! Bev

I don't know how I found you but I'm sure glad I did. This is the first blog I've found that deals with Sure Cuts Alot. We are a family of 5 teachers, special ed, elementary and high school and we use our cricut everyday. We each take it 1 day a week. Do you think it's worth it to upgrade Sure Cuts Alot to 2x? What are the best new features? Being teachers we have limited personal money to buy things for school. But if you were to see the expression on the faces of even the most interverted child when they have created and cut something "they made". That's why we teach.
Wow I think its so cool Hallmark gave you a Gypsy to give away. We could have more children working together if we had one. Even my son who is a high school history teacher uses the Cricut to cut out the shapes of countries he has scanned into Inkscape to make a svg file then cuts it with Sure Cuts Alot and the Cricut, so the kids know the countries by their shapes. We use it for math, science, art, on and on. I also use it to stimulate the kids imagination by giving them a shape, any shape and asking them to write a story about it. What great stories I have read thanks to these tools. Keep up the good work.

HELP!!! I have been searching the net for HOURS!! I keep coming back to your site, so I am hoping you can help, or direct me where to go. Can I cut on a 12x12 piece of cardstock, using CDS, a title that stays ON the paper. I dont want to cut letters out, I want it to stay part of the page? I need it to cut between the letters, but I have NO idea how!!! thank you!

Coree said...

Hello!! Love your blog, check it all the time and it is a great help with the gypsy! I wondered if you know how to cut long ways. I would like to turn the paper doll to be 24 inches long on the gypsy and can't find a way to do it? Thank you so much!

Hello! You seem to know so much and figured I would ask you this question. I have the fiskars 12 inch cutter and the cutterbee rotary cutter. They both eventually stopped cutting perfectly straight. Do you know if this has to do with the blade or the cutter itself? What do you use and is there one that you see works really well and doesn't eventually do this? Thanks! -Natalie
