Episode 58- Brayer Revisited

  1. What a great teacher you are, Robyn. I know what my problem is and it is that my stamp pad is not big enough for my brayer. It is not like the pad you have that seems to be larger. Mine is not as wide so my brayer doesn't fit as well. I guess I need that smaller brayer for these colors. I wonder where I could find ink pads like yours now that SU doesn't carry them? Thanks again.

  6. Thanks Robyn! I love your videos and this update helped tons!! I totally was using the wrong paper and I think my ink pad is too small….guess I will have to go shopping!
I do have a stamp question for you--do you not mount your SU stamps? If not (that is what it looks like to me) how do you store them? Do you store them just like clear stamps?
Thanks so much for your wonderful work and keep the great ideas coming!!

My brayer is on the way. Now I just need everything else. Baby steps! I was wondering about the stamp pad you used. Since I am not familiar with stamping, could you post the name and kind of pad it is. Would make shopping much easier. I have an idea but not sure. Love the colors and the background stamp help the card pop. Thanks.

  10. Great video. You have inspired me to try this. I have everything but the paper, which is hard to find in a store. I will have to keep looking.

  13. Hi Robyn
First of all I want to say how great your videos are. I check everyday to see if there is a new one. I am just started buying supplies to stamp and haven't yet done anything. I watched episode 58 brayer revisited and tried to do it. I went to Joann's and bought the 12 X 12 glossy cardstock but the ink will not dry. It't been 24 hours and it is still wet. I also did the watermark and it does not show up like yours. I bought the same vera and ink as you showed. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong Please.

  14. Hi Robyn, what a great video for the brayer and glossy card stock. I have an Expedex near me and want to buy that card stock. Could you email me privately and tell me the exact name of that paper so I can buy a reem? I know it's a lot of paper, but I'm sharing it with my scrapping buddy :)
