I made this card the other night using the Polished Stone Technique. It's more work than I like to do for one card but I do like the end result.
Recipe:Stamp Set: Fishy Friends from Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: Pixie Pink, Lavendar Lace, Brushed Silver, & Whisper White from Stampin' Up!
Ink: Basic Black Classic Ink Pad; Bashful Blue, Lavendar Lace, Pixie Pink, & Silver ink refills
Other: Silver minibrads, silver cord, scallop scissors, & Stampin' Write markers
I hope you all have a fantastic night. I'm off to help with the little girls at my church tonight. I am teaching them about gratitude and the importance of sending thank you cards. Then I am having them make 3 cards. Wish me luck!

The result is super cute! I don't like to do too much work for one card either - but this was worth it.

Robyn,
Too funny! I downloaded the instructions for polished stone tecnique a few weeks ago. It is sitting on my table in my craft room. I was going to try it when I got caught up on some other things. Then I click on your blog & low & behold you have done a card using this technique! I love your choice of colors & the fish stamp is perfect!! Once again, you did it again!
ohhhh i love the colors you used for your polished stone--what a great card!
