This one's for the girls!

I was just in a mood to make a "girl" card. I just went in my "Loft" and started pulling out ribbon & then added colors. This turned out cuter than I expected. I love this girl on the stamp. She looks about my age (19) and like a totally cool chickie!

Ballet Birthday

Both my daughters have their birthdays in April so I wanted to get a headstart on their birthday cards. I have always loved this retired Stampin' Up! set but have only had the chance to use it once or twice.

Paper: Sweet Blush by Papertrey Ink; Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Pink Passion by Stampin' Up!
Ink: Pink Passion, Versamark by Stampin' Up!
Accessories: Ribbon from Hobby Lobby, Snap from other source

Technique: I stamped my image in Versamark & then directly into a Pink Passion Classic ink pad. Then I immediately stamped on my paper and poured clear embossing powder over it, shook it off, and heat embossed. VIOLA!!

Change of plans....

Okay, here was my idea. To make a card where everything was in black/gray/white and have a splash of color and a saying that read "one of a kind". I couldn't find a stamp that said that in my collection. I know I used to own one!! Anyway, I think this turned out pretty cool, too.

Stamp Set: Green Thumb by Papertrey Ink
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White & Going Gray by Stampin' Up!; Sweet Blush & Spring Moss by Papertrey Ink
Ribbon: Sweet Blush Satin Dot by Papertrey Ink
Ink: Basic Black & Going Gray by Stampin' Up!; Sweet Blush & Spring Moss by Papertrey Ink

Hello Friend

I'm really trying to expand my stamping abilities. I haven't embossed in a long time (at least not since yesterday) so I thought I would give it a shot again. Enjoy!

My Serenity!!

Okay, today I was having a major breakdown. It seemed like all my kids were screaming at me, being defiant, and just plain throwing fits! (That's right. I'm not perfect.) So my DH came home & took two of the children to run an errand. I got my 3 boys settled down and went in my "Loft" to calm down. It's funny that I was able to create such a sweet card when I was feeling so grumpy. It really helped my mood, though, and by the time that my DH came back I was fine. The chinese food that he brought me helped a little. :)

I tried something new for the ribbon that I have never seen before but was in my head for some reason. I doubled up some of the new yummy Papertrey Ink ribbon, twisted it, and added an eyelet on the left. I just used regular tape on the back to keep it down. I'll add the recipe under the photo.

Stamp Sets: Framed Greetings & Small Script from Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush, & Spring Moss from Papertrey Ink; Whisper White & Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up!
Ribbon: Sweet Blush & Berry Sorbet from Papertrey Ink
Ink: Basic Brown from Stampin' Up!
Accessories: White minibrad, Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background, Corner punch from Stampin' Up! for the scallop border

I was inspired to make this card by a thread I saw on Splitcoast Stampers. Those who are fighting Breast Cancer are very close to my heart. This card goes out to all of you who do all you can in the fight to find a cure for this awful disease. Thank you!

The stamp set used is Hope Is by Stampin' Up! I stamped the image with a Whisper White Craft Pad & heat embossed with white powder. The Cricut cartridge Mini Monograms was used to make the large circles and the scallop. The ribbon is Berry Sorbet from Papertrey Ink. The cardstock used was Basic Black from Stampin' Up! and Berry Sorbet & Sweet Blush from Papertrey Ink. The Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots was used for the background. The Thank You is from the Stampin' Up! set Watercolor Wishes.

Pink & Fun

Okay, I just got home from our family mini vacation a few hours ago but I couldn't wait to create something with my new Papertrey order. Every month Papertrey Ink is debuting 2 new exclusive colors. Last month they had Aqua Mist & Spring Moss. This month they have Berry Sorbet & Sweet Blush. These colors are so super yummy you could just eat them up!! The stamp set is called Watercolor Wishes and it was an exclusive set that only demonstrators could earn back in 2001 or 2002. I could never get rid of it because I loved it so much. All the other paper & ribbon is from I used a paper piercer to add the little dots. Enjoy!

Cricut Layout Challenge #5

I made this page today for a challenge on the Cricut Messageboard. The challenge was to leave lots of empty space on your page and use lots of circles. I used one of Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin Kits and Cricut cartridges Pooh Font & George. The large brads were bought at the Dollar Tree.

It's a Girl's Day Out!!

Today I decided to take my 2 girls on a "date" while my car was in the shop getting new tires. We ended up walking around the shopping center for 4 hours while we were waiting. While we were there we all got pedicures. My girls loved them!!! I got my first pedicure at the age of 30 so for the girls to get them at ages 7 & ( was pretty special. Here are our cute toes. Can you tell which one is mine???? I love sparkly & pink things.

Hope you are all having a terrific day!!!

A bird circle!

I have recently learned how to make circle cards (thanks to my Cricut Software and other blogs). I made this by welding 2 circles together from the George cartridge and then adding a bird from Happily Ever After. All the paper is from Papertrey Ink. I added Stickles for a bling touch.

Birthday Box & Card

I was messing around today with my Cricut Expression trying to make a video tutorial for you all but it didn't work out this time. I'm having issues with my Kodak Easyshare on my new computer. For some reason it won't let me upload my videos at all. I have even uninstalled it and then installed it again. Nope, not going to work this time. If any of you have any suggestions that would be great!

Anyway, here is a simple project that I wanted to share. The box was made with Tags, Bags, Boxes & More. The stamp set is Figures of Speech from Stampin' Up! I used the ric rac from Target, the paper is from DCWV, and the punch used was also from Stampin' Up! I stamped in Basic Brown and colored with Stampin' Write markers. Enjoy!

Get Well Card

Yesterday I was going through my HUGE collection of premade cards when I realized that I didn't have any Get Well Soon cards. This really surprised me because I have been making cards for years & thought that I had everything pretty much covered. Not! So, my goal now is to make sure I have cards readily available for every occasion. I made this quick card tonight using one of Gina K's stamp sets. The paper is all from Stampin' Up! I stamped the image with Basic Brown and colored in with Stampin' Write Markers. The scallop circle was made with the Cricut cartridge Mini Monograms.

Pink Butterfly

I just think this card turned out adorable! I used the Cricut cartridge Happily Ever After for the butterfly and George for the rounded rectangle. The background was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. The colors are Pretty in Pink & Rose Red from Stampin' Up! and Spring Moss for the ribbon and green cardstock from Papertrey Ink (link in my side bar). I added stickles for the sparkly touch. Enjoy!

WHO misses you??

Isn't this little owl so super cute??? It is from the Cricut cartridge Happily Ever After. I made this last night while waiting for my kids to fall asleep. Most of the paper is Bling from Bazzill. The colors for the owl are Stampin' Up!'s Creamy Caramel & Close to Cocoa. Stickle glitter was used for the eyes. The embossed background is the Swiss Dots folder for the Cuttlebug. Enjoy!

The new Pooh Font

Yes, I bought another Cricut cartridge!! I couldn't resist this one. It has 3 different fonts and a bunch of baby Pooh characters. I know that I will use it often. Here is a quick layout I made with it. All I need now is some pictures of my family on a picnic!!

Birthday Goodie Bag

This was a super fast goodie bag I just made for my son's Kindergarten class. I had to make 23 in about 45 minutes so I wanted to keep it super simple.

The dinosaur is from the Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. The hat is a punch from Stampin' Up! The candy is from the candy isle at Walmart. (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

I realize that I officially hit 50,000 hits today on my blog. Wow! That is mind boggling. Thanks for coming over to The Pink Stamper!! I will post some candy to give away tomorrow.

Can you believe I am sick again??? I was up all night with the stomach bug that my kids had last week. I was only feeling good for 1 1/2 days!! I think I should be back to normal by tomorrow morning. I can finally keep food down so that is a good sign.

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

I got new stuff!!!

Well, today I got my new Papertrey Ink order in and had so much fun playing with it. The website link is on my side bar so be sure to check it out!! They now have their own color line, and are releasing 2 new colors a month. They have cardstock, ink, patterned paper, and coordinating ribbon in their exclusive colors. I love the quality of cardstock. It is probably the best I have ever used and everyone who knows me knows that I only have one favorite type of cardstock. Here is a card I just made with it.

The stamp set is also from Papertrey Ink called Beautiful Blooms & the saying is the set called Papertrey. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots for the background. The Cricut cartridge Mini Monograms was used to make the scallop circle. Enjoy!

2 more layouts!!

For this first one I was stumped!! I already had another page prepared and then I just didn't like it so I redid the entire thing. I think it turned out much better.

I had fun with this next page. I used the new Cricut software to stretch a frame from Stretch Your Imagination. The title is from Doodletype.

100% Boy!

Need I say anything else?? The paper I used is from a Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up! The Cricut cartridge I used for the title was Cuttin' Up. Colors are Not Quite Navy & Certainly Celery. Enjoy!

Rock & Roll

It's so funny when my kids get in the mood to "rock". We can have an entire evening dedicated to them making up funny songs and performing on our fireplace. This page is just a typical day in the life of our family.

Real Red & Yoyo Yellow was used for the cardstock and the DCWV Glitter Stack was also used. The cartridge for the title was Plantin' Schoolbook from Cricut.

Pretty Girls

As I was making this SB page yesterday I realized that my little girls are not going to be little for much longer. One is almost 10 and one is almost 8!!! Pretty soon they will not want to play with dolls but only talk about boys. I am trying to enjoy this stage because I know it is not here forever. My favorite song right now is by Trace Atkins and it is called "Your gonna miss this." It's hard to see it now but I know that when I look back I am going to wish for it back.

Cardstock is Regal Rose & Wild Wasabi from Stampin' Up! The Cricut cartridges used are Jasmine & Walk in my Garden.

Inspired Scrapbook Page

The card I made this morning inspired me to make this scrapbook page. I used the same Ginger Blossom Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! and some of the same colors. The butterflies are from the Cricut cartridge Walk in my Garden and the title is from Doodletype.

First card in a long time!

As I recover from my long weekend I realize how much I miss just making a simple card for someone. The inspiration for this card is from all the people who helped me throughout the weekend deal with my being sick and a household of sickos. From the friend who picked up my 5 year old to take him to Kindergarten on Friday, to the friend who went to the grocery store yesterday morning to bring us jello, Sprite, Gingerale, bananas, & lots of juice, to the friend who stopped by last night with a plate of my favorite goodies. I appreciate everyone in my life and am very thankful for the hand of the Lord in my life.

This card was made using all Stampin' Up! products. The designer paper is Ginger Blossom, the cardstock is Whisper White & Always Artichoke, the ink is Basic Brown. I used artichoke mini brads and a blender pen with a Guava ink pad to color the flowers in the wheel barrow. The stamp set is an old Sellabration set called Love Ya Bunches.

My Adhesive Obsession

Okay, I promise I'm not that weird but when I see a good deal I just can't pass it up!! This week Hobby Lobby has all of their adhesives for 50% off!!! That includes glue dots, pop dots, glue pens, hermafix dotto, and everything else in that category. Well, I was able to sneak out of the house yesterday, even though I was still terribly sick, and stock up! Here is what I got and I am thinking about going back a second time! Usually they have some of their adhesive at 30% off but never at 50%. I feel like I hit the jackpot in the craft industry!!

Fun Stuff

Since my family and I have been so sick this weekend I haven't had much time to do anything but sleep and sit on my rump! This page was something easy I threw together in between taking care of sick children and sleeping. Can I tell you how much strep throat hurts as an adult??? I haven't had it since I was 22 and back then it seemed to have literally vanished in 24 hours on the antibiotics. I am on day 3 of my meds and my throat is still killing me!!!! Anyway, hope you enjoy this layout!

I used Doodletype for the title and Stretch Your Imagination for the paisleys. They are so cute I could have just eaten them up!!! All the paper is from Stampin' Up! Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, and Pink Passion.

I've got some great "PINK" candy.....

Coming your way very soon!!! I have already picked out some really awesome goodies for my Pink candy giveaway when I reach 50,000 hits. That should be in the next week or sooner. Stay tuned and bookmark me for updates!!!

Have a wonderful day!!
