I made these little goodie bags for the girls I work with in church. They were quick and easy because I only had about 25 minutes to make them all. What do you think??

Deep Thoughts by The Pink Stamper

I've often wondered how my mop water gets so dirty everytime I mop my kitchen floor. I figured out today that the key to cleaner water is to mop two times a week!! I'm so happy that I have solved the mystery. Another bonus is that my home smells lemony fresh two times in one week! It doesn't matter that I have a pile up to the ceiling of laundry on my bed because my house smells clean!!

Help me decide!!

I am in the process of downsizing my craft & scrapbooking stuff but I don't know what to do. I have about 120 Stampin' Up! wheels and I think I am going to just keep 10 of my favorites. I never use the smaller ones anymore since I got my Cricut so it is time to let them go to a nice home. Which ones should I keep? I own almost all of them from the past & present. I am going to get rid of my Ink cartridges, too, and only keep 10 of my favorite colors..... what do you suggest. I've also decided to sell all of my punches (and I own about 20-30) since I don't use them anymore. I will, of course, keep a few of those like corner punches but the shapes are all going, going, gone!!

"Why am I doing this" you ask?? Well, after long consideration I have decided that I need to do a little rearranging in my house and let my baby have his own room. At least for a little while until I can trust him to be in the same room as my 2 year old. I am also going to be getting rid of a bunch of other stuff I am not using. This will be very hard but I know I can do it. Wish me luck!!!

My first Bella card

Okay, I'll admit it, I bought some Bellas. I didn't tell anyone at first because I thought I would make it a suprise. "SURPRISE"............ My new name is Pinkabella! Has that one been taken yet??

I had some scrap paper from Hobby Lobby so I decided to use it on a Fall card. The stamp set is Carved and Candlelit from Stampin' Up! and I used Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, & Old Olive cardstock. The Cuttlebug "Traffic Jam" folder was used for the background. The Cricut was used for the small oval and scallop circle.

Color Challenge and a Funny

Here is the card I made for today's challenge on Splitcoast using Purely Pomegranite, Basic Gray and Bashful Blue. The stamps are from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Bundle Up.

Here is something fun I did using my photo software. I used a feature called "cartoon" to create this card into something new. Isn't it so cute??

Pink & Green Christmas

This weekend I messed around with these two colors adding a couple other colors and came up with this card. I like how it turned out.

Recipe: I used Stampin' Up!'s set Snowflake for the main image and the Cuttlebug for the embossed background. I then used a Craft SU pad to ink up the raised images. The lime green paper is from Prism Papers and all other CS is from Stampin' Up... Cool Caribbean, Pixie Pink, Basic Black, and Whisper White. The Cricut was used to make the scallop circle. The gingham grosgrain is also from Stampin' Up!

I just got these in the mail from Melissa over at Simply Pink for the "Pay It Forward" challenge. I will now send my 3 packages of goodies to those who signed up for it. I forgot to add the cutest card that Melissa also sent me. Thanks so much for doing this!! I love my goodies!

Halloween Goodie!!

In our church we have what is called "Visiting Teaching" where we are assigned a number of women to go visit in their homes once a month. It is a great way to make new friends especially when you have just moved to a new location. They have this in our church worldwide. I made these goodie bags for the girls I visit teach and my companion who is assigned to go with me every month. Enjoy!

Simple Wedding..

One of my DH's employees is getting married tomorrow so I made this quick card to give with our gift. It really only took me 5 minutes to make. Can you get much quicker than that??? I used Brushed Silver & Papertrey's white cardstock. The embossed background was made with the Cuttlebug. I embossed the wedding bells on a metal-edge tag with silver embossing powder and my versamark pad. I can't remember the name of the stamp set but it was a Hostess Appreciation set from Stampin' Up! many years ago. Enjoy!

Pink for Christmas is totally IN!!

I just got my new issue of Scrapbooks, etc. and almost all of their Holiday cards and projects have pink and lime green. I am soooo stoked!! Can I say that word anymore?? Sorry, I'm still stuck in the 80's. Anyway, I am super excited to make some of my very own pink Christmas cards this year! Watch out everyone!!

On my way to order......

I bet you thought I meant order as in "buy" something, right? Well, I am trying to get my life in order and I thought I would share something that I made for my family. Of course this is not completed yet but it is a start. I have put together a family bulletin board that will include the monthly menu, family chore chart, calendar, word of the week, quote of the month, etc. I am really trying to have family unity in my home and I thought I would try to implement something new. I used my Cricut for almost everything on this board. Have I told you how much I love my new Expression??? It is super awesome!! I am able to cut really big things and do all sorts of amazing tricks with it!

This is just my first draft and not the completed board. My kids drew on the background but I decided to just keep it there to add charm.

Where have I been???

I have been so busy doing the "mom" thing that I haven't had a second to post on my blog. This week looks brighter so I will be sure to update regularly! I made this card the other night. Notice that I didn't use any pink. That was a big challenge for me! Enjoy.

Challenges??

Hey everyone! The response was not very huge for my challenges so I have decided just to do my regular uploads. I will post some fun pink stuff throughout the month and then other projects I am also working on.

I am getting ready to scrap with some friends from church so I will be sure to upload those pics later. I hope you all have a fantastic day! I've been up since 6am and I have gotten so much done.

Pink Challenge - Day 6

No pink today!!! The challenge for today is to make something without using the color pink. I know, I know........... am I crazy or what??? In all honesty I didn't have time to make anything today but I did make this poster for my church tonight and I thought it might go great with the "no pink" theme for today.

This poster was made using Cricut's Animal Kingdom cartridge and the colors Basic Black, Ruby Red, and Whisper White. The chicken was made using Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, and Ruby Red. All other supplies are from Hobby Lobby.

Pink Challenge - Day 5

Sparkle it up, Baby!!! For today's "pink" challenge use something that sparkles on your card. This is the new breast cancer stamp set from My Favorite Things at www.mftstamps.com. 50% of the profit goes towards the Susan Koman foundation. I hope you will check it out and support the wonderful cause.

Card recipe: Think Pink stamp set from My Favorite Things. Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White cardstock. Basic Black and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Up! ink pads. Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. Stampin' Write markers to color in the image. Word Window punch along with mini brads for the accessories. I ran my white cardstock through the Xyron upside down AFTER I had colored it. Then I poured Dazzling Diamonds over the sticky top and tapped it off. Viola!! Instant, messy-free sparkles! The ribbon is from Michaels.

Pink Challenge - Day 4

Today my challenge is to make some type of packaging using pink. Here I made a box using my Cricut (Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More) and a matching 3x3 birthday card. I made up another bracelet and jewelry set for one of my DH's employees for her birthday and it is going in the box. Isn't this fun???

Tag, I'm it!!

I have just been tagged by Donna over at Scrappin Donna! I need to share 7 things about me that you all probably don't know or maybe some of you do. Here goes......

#1- I'm totally afraid of going to the dentist, even though my DH is one!

#2- I met a movie star once named Corky Pigeon from Silver Spoons. (Heather, remember that, too?? You were there with me and we were both only 8 or 9.

#3- I am soooo much older than I look and sound. I promise!

#4- I sleep with the bathroom fan on. This habit started when we were in Kentucky for dental school in our apartment. I could hear the neighbors sometimes and I needed a distraction! It also helped my kids sleep better. Now that we own a house I still do it even though it is completely quiet at night.

#5- My favorite color is purple. SIKE!!! Gotcha! Of course it is pink! I threatened to paint the walls of my bedroom pink but my DH didn't go for it. When I was in highschool we moved into a new house when I was a senior. My mom had my walls, blinds, bedding, and bathroom stuff all peach!! That used to be my favorite color.

#6- I haven't always been the sweet girl you know now. I was a total rebel in highschool to my parents. Sorry mom!! I had a mouth on me and no respect. I finally grew out of that when I turned about 21. I know that I so deserve one of my kids to behave like me but I'm just hoping they won't!

#7- I once drove from California to Utah to Montana by myself with NO radio in my car!!! Yep, that is true! I was moving to my mom's in Montana for a bit and my "new" car did not have a stereo. I had to wear headphones the entire trip. Wow! I was crazy!!

I just made this set for a friend who is having her birthday tomorrow. The lighting isn't very good in the picture but this is probably my best creation yet! It's very chunky and out of my element.

31 Day "Pink" Challenge
