Papertrey Ink Stamps

Here is my take on Papertrey Ink Stamps at I LOVE them!! I am not a big acrylic fan but I love these. They are very well made and stamp so nice with my Classic Dye ink. I will definitely be buying from them in the future. They also came so nicely packaged in cute little boxes along with a CD case and label for the spine. The designer of this company, Nichole Heady, is going to do very well. I love her style.

Cute turtle..

I just made the cutest card using my Cuttlebug and Cricut together. I actually used the Cuttlebug to emboss the shell of my turtle. Isn't he cute??

Happy Monday!

Good Monday to you all! Here are some cards I made in the past week or so. I hope you enjoy. I used my Cuttlebug on a lot on them. I just love my Cricut and my Cuttlebug. I don't think I could live without them.

Blog Candy

Yes, I am going to join in on the blog candy, too!! As soon as I get to 500 hits I will post what I am giving away and you can comment on that post. I will let you know on that post when I will be drawing, etc. All you need to do is comment to be in the drawing! How fun is that! My blog will never be as big as some of my friend stampers but I thought I could do it for my friends who take the time to read this. I'm super excited now to go in my craft room and see what I can give away!! Who knows, I might be at 500 posts by Monday at the rate we are going. How fun!!

2nd Prima Card

I guess I'm on a roll with these Primas. I just ordered some from Jacksonbelle's e-bay shop. I can't wait to start getting the bigger ones, too. I hope you enjoy this card. I used Simple Florals for the set, Cameo Coral, Close to Cocoa, & Mellow Moss cardstock. I also pulled out my Watercolor Wonder crayons that I have had FOREVER and only used once or twice. That gave me a nice, soft look. I think this one turned our really nice, too. You will also see that I broke out the Cuttlebug for this one.

My first Prima card...

Okay, I have had these little primas sitting in my scraproom for about a year now. I bought them off ebay back then and have never used them. I'm going to start getting the bigger ones soon so I thought I'd better give these a shot. I think this card turned out really cute. I used Perfect Plum, True Thyme, and DS paper. Let me know what you think.

Things I love...

I was just challenged by my friend, Kerry, to post about the things I love on my blog. So here goes.....

I love so many things that I don't even know where to begin. One thing that I am finding that brings me much happiness right now is service. When I am serving others I don't think of myself, I am not slothful or lazy, and I want to serve more & more. That brings me true happiness. My family makes me happy. Yes, it is very crazy having 5 little kids all 9 years old and under but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Growing up I was never the kind of person who loves babies or little children. I did not enjoy babysitting and only did it for the money. Now that I am a "grownup" with my own children I find that I love ALL children. I love to have my friend's children over because I truly love them, too. I really don't know what has changed in me. Maybe it's because I am a mom or maybe it is just simply that I have matured. Whatever the reason I am grateful for it. My husband also makes me happy. I could not have married anyone who would have been a better match for me. It has taken 11 years but I am finally feeling like we fit so well together. This morning when I was up at 5am to feed the baby he turned to me and told me what a great mother I am to all the children and how proud he was of me. That really made me happy. Okay, other things that make me happy are Cherry Limeades from Sonic, Chocolate Maltomeal, frogeye salad, and my friends.

Super Saturday

Here are some of the cards that we are making during our Super Saturday at church in May. I've designed most of these but some I did copy from some friends and tweak a bit.

This cute icecream cone card was designed by my friend Kerry Black.

This card was made by someone in my Stampin' Up! downline for a group swap. I'm sorry but I can't remember who made it. Post here if it was you.

Our world revolves around..........

Disney Channel!! It's so funny because our family cannot miss one new episode of Hannah Montana. This week we had to make sure that we were back from all errands at 6:00 so we wouldn't miss the all new episodes this week. It is a pretty funny show, though. I would have to give it a big ole' thumbs up. It just amazes me how much my family enjoys all those Disney shows.

CASE'd card

This was CASE'd from my good friend Susanne Moyer.

Super Simple

This is going to be one of the 10 cards that we are doing for our Super Saturday at our church. It was super simple and I created it in under 3 minutes!!

I just want to see if this pic will post. I'm having such a hard time with blogspot right now!!
