SCS Cricut November Challenges

On Splitcoast Stampers we have a thread just for those of us with Cricuts. We decided to start a monthly challenge making items with our bugs. Here is our first month of challenges.
For this challenge we had to incorporate a shape cut from our Cricut. I used a flourish from the Accent Essentials cartridge. The font was made using Printing 101. The paper is from the Wild Aspargus pack sold at Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is Hobby Lobby's textured cardstock.

This next challenge was to make a non-card item using a font cart. I chose to use Mini Monograms. I covered a tin that I got from The patterned paper is from Hobby Lobby and the cardstock is Chocolate Chip & Old Olive.
This challenge was to make a card using a shape cart. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More to make my card base. I used the mirror feature using a tag cut. The snowflake is from Accent Essentials, the ribbon is narrow white organdy, the patterned paper is from Hobby Lobby, & the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. The cardstock is Purely Pomegranite from Stampin' Up!
For this challenge I did two in one. First I was to make any brown & orange card and second I was to use a shape cartridge with a cuttlebug embossed foler. The cartridge I used was Animal Kingdom. The colors were all from Stampin' Up! I used Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Creamy Caramel. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Well, I finally got on the bloggin' bandwagon this week! I'm now a member of the SBS (Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers) and I've loved playin' with the whole blog thing!

I'm actually trying to find out if any of the other LDS gals on SCS want to have an LDS Blog Sisterhood--would you be interested?

Just stop by my blog sometime and let me know!

  4. So, so cute! I love the tin! I'm impressed with your Cricut abilities. I have one and haven't ever even used it. I bad!
