I just received word that I did not make it onto another Design Team. I have applied for two and have had two rejections. I really like clean, simple cards but I guess that is not what the craft industry is looking for. That's okay. I don't need to be recognized for my work, I mainly make my creations to give away and just for my simple pleasure. Designing is a great creative outlet for a stay at home mom of 5 small children.
I will definitely upload some fun stuff this week. Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog. :)

I think you're fabulous! That's why I check your blog! :)
Robyn,
You definitely are not horrible! More power to you for submitting your work for consideration. You've gotten further than me in that respect :-)
Robin, Please don't change your style...You make beautiful cards. One of the reasons that I have been dropping most of my craft magazines is that they are way to elaborate and sometimes gaudy. Sometimes when you look at pictures of them it is hard to see the actual stamped image because of all the clutter. I love your clean, simple lines and neat cards.
No, you're not at all! I think God is just trying to keep you from putting too much off your plate :) Enjoy your kiddos and enjoy your stamping, for pleasure!

Wow, Robyn, if you can't get on a design team, something must be wrong, wrong, wrong! I do think it has a lot to do with style, but your style is beautiful! Your style is something I can aspire to; many of those more ornate styles will never be within my grasp. You just keep making gorgeous cards!
No--You have clean, graphic style. It's funny how we all look for affirmation from "the people". It's nice, I'm sure, and there are probably benefits to it. But it doesn't change who you are today. And you are where you are supposed to be right now.
Keep your chin up! Your day will come, and maybe all your waiting means you'll be chosen by one of the largest, greatest, "bestest" design teams in the craft industry (yet to be discovered)!!
Blessings!
I wouldn't worry so much I love your creations!!!
wow good for you for putting yourself out there and trying to get published! that is just a dream of mine! good for you!!!
Don't worry about the lack of being chosen. We all check your blog because we like the work you do. I think the industry is too big into embellishments and not focusing enough on the main statement you're trying to get through with your card. I love you style and hope you don't feel intimidated by those choosing the design teams.
I say stick to your guns and embrace your stamping style! We think you rock!
I think that your designs are just great! Keep up the good work!
It's ok sweetie, just keep up what you're doing, and enjoy it. We all know where to find you, and you are inspiring to us all!!!
Plenty of Hugs n' Aloha,
Jen
I really enjoy your blog and your cards and scrapping! I check almost every day to see your work. I think the *right* Design Team challenge will come for you in time.
Keep at it! I someday want to be on a Design Team, myself, but haven't even tried. You're WAY farther than me!

Well you are one step ahead of me, I haven't even tried yet! Keep trying, you just never know!
Your cards are wonderful! Keep on submitting...as my Dad use to say,"The wheels that squeak..get the Grease".
Well Robyn I agree with everything everyone else has said. You do great cards and LO's something will come along when it's supposed too, IF I ever start my webstore you'll be on my list for a design team!
Hi Robyn
Dont be sad!!! Rejection is the hardest part of this "buisness" we feel we need lots of validation. SO when we get a NO its personal to us. Stick with your own style and dont change it for anything! You do amazing work. Maybe start submitting for publication. While the rejection rate is still high- you can get your "name" out there!
Hugs my friend
I'm sorry that you weren't picked. I love your things. I have had your blog in my favorites list for a while now. I enjoy the variety of creations that you post on your blog. I think you are great. If you really want to be on a desgin team, just keep trying. Your work is great.
You are Great!!!
i think this is so ironic, you have pretty much the same style now, and your successful in the scrapbooking business, and now you have to reject people for your design team. i don't understand how your talent hadn't been recognized before!
